My focus is to provide the best and most realistic dive training possible to make you the best diver you can be.

A little about me…

I am an instructor and the owner of Midwest Dive Training, LLC. I am a PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) certified Scuba Instructor and rated as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

I teach recreational, public safety and technical divers.

I became Open Water Certified in 2007. Shortly thereafter, I completed my Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Divemaster certifications.

I worked full-time in public safety for over 27 years and I have conducted a lot of training. Because I enjoy training others, I decided to become a SCUBA Instructor. I received my Instructor certification in May 2010, in Florida. In November of 2011, I returned to Florida to get my Deep Tec certification and subsequently obtained my Deep Tec Instructor certification.

I was a member of a Public Safety Dive Team and I obtained my PADI Public Safety Diver Instructor certification in 2012. I have provided training for members of several different dive teams, and I am often invited to assist during team training. I have had the opportunity to instruct several Public Safety Diving courses at Fox Valley Technical College.

I was interested in diving deeper than 200 feet deep. Open circuit (with doubles) or closed circuit with a rebreather are the two main options for diving this deep. I chose to invest in a closed circuit rebreather for deeper diving. I am certified through IANTD to dive full trimix to a depth of 330 feet on a Megaladon rebreather.
